DETAILS
SRJO will present our annual fundraising event at the Sunset Club, 1021 University Street, Seattle. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year.
Volunteers will be needed to help set up registration, make sure signage is up, and help guide people as they come to the venue. Understanding your physical needs or limitations will help us give you the best volunteer experience we can. Understanding how much time you can commit that day is critical for us to make sure that everything is covered, and we want you to be comfortable with the tasks we give you.
April 28th (4:00 PM - 7:00 PM)
Pre-event set-up
April 29th - SRJO Annual Gala (3:00 PM - 10:00 PM)
Various Shifts
VOLUNTEER POSITIONS
Set up, the Night Before (4 positions)
4:00 – 7:00 PM, April 28th
Come to the venue at 4:00 PM the day before the event and help us get the venue ready. You’ll set up displays and make sure everything is ready for everyone to have a good time. The job requires walking, standing, and light lifting.
Registration/Set up and Check Out (4 positions)
Time: 3:00 – 8:00 PM, April 29th
This position will help set up the event registration, check in our guests, and help to answer any questions they might have. You may also help with our raffle, Dessert Dash, and Raise-the-Paddle, and get our guests checked out and, on their way home.
Raffle Sales and Room Attendance (5 positions)
Time: 5:00 – 10:00 PM, April 29th
This position will help sell raffle tickets in the room, and then help to make sure things are in order and picked up within the room. You will also help to answer questions and make sure people have what they need. You may also help with our raffle and Dessert Dash, Raise-the-Paddle, and help keep the venue organized and tidy and finish helping with the clean-up. This Job requires standing and walking.
Greeters (2 positions)
Time: 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM
This position will welcome people to the event, and make sure they know where they are going and what to expect.
